Now our production is completely finished, we had the simple task (so we thought) of changing the file to an MPEG format, this is primarily so our film can be transfered onto a DVD which makes the task of marking them much simpler for the examiners. But, our film just simply doesn’t want to do this. It keeps freezing and stalling half way through the process. Incase our film was merely too much for the memory of the computer we removed all slide transitions, and even the non-diegetic sound yet still no luck. Our teacher has advised us that perhaps the only way to solve the issue is to create it as an MPEG in smaller and disconnected sections.
It is very fustrating, mainly because our group had finished with so much time spare, and yet our efforts still cannot be fully recognised without the film on DVD. Let’s just hope that our next attempt to MPEG is more successful!
