This is our establishing shot which pans from right to left. It allows the audience to be aware of ‘Lily’s’ illness straight away which was beneficial due to our time constraints. Conventionally in emotional dramas they often use a longer establisihing shot of a view of a whole city or setting, however due to our budget this obviously wasn’t practical.
